Karim Kharbouch a.k.a French Montana is known all around the world for his music and the amazing videos he shoots. His latest video ‘’Unforgettable’’ that was shot in Uganda takes us away from the tradition of having video vixens by replacing them with the talented children of Uganda who showcase their dance skills to the melodies of the record.
The inspiration for the video is born out of French’s adoration for the Ugandan ‘’Triplets Ghetto kids.’’ Their street dancing attracted the star leading him to shoot his video there.
The group is made up of children living in Kampala’s slums who gained popularity after they made an appearance in Eddy Kenzo’s ‘’Sitya Loss ‘’ music video. The dancers have been trending for some weeks now after a video of them dancing to Justin Beiber’s hit song ‘’sorry’’ went viral moments after being aired on BBC.
The video is directed by Spiff TV and French himself, the rapper and Swae Lee are both seen to hit some dance moves in the video as well. At the end of the video, French is shown to be captured by Ugandan forces as his latest single ‘’No Pressure’’ featuring future plays in the background which hints that we’ll probably see more of Montana in Uganda.
